Renovated by Luigi Fragola Architects, this ancient farmhouse is now reborn thanks to its Italian contemporary interior design style. In Fiesole, a hill illuminated by the sun just above Florence, there is an old farm renamed Villa Tina which became the new home of a young couple of Florentine entrepreneurs, but also the main focus of the restoration project of Luigi Fragola Architects.
An all around renovation with a 360-degree design commitment. So the restoration project included the pre-nineteenth-century building structure as well as the details of the interiors. It also included the exteriors with an infinite pool, placed on one of the terraces of the hill.
The interior design is characterized by classic furnishings for a timeless character, with bright colors that recall the nature of Fiesole. The dark green of the bespoke carpentry and the kitchen, finely made by local artisans, recalls the olive trees surrounding the property. The upper floor houses the sleeping area, where the colors are lighter to leave the surrounding nature predominant.
The exteriors are in perfect harmony with the interiors, with a staircase leading to the infinite pool that profits from unique view of Florence framed by the garden, inspired by the typical essences of the Florentine countryside. The result is an ancient farm house reborn.
