In the heart of Florence, just a few steps from Santa Maria Novella, Palazzo Ottaviani introduces a new vision of urban hospitality: more intimate than a hotel and more sophisticated than a temporary residence. Designed by Luigi Fragola Architects, Palazzo Ottaviani comprises ten exclusive apartments of different sizes, including a penthouse with a panoramic terrace. Each residence is conceived as an individual, welcoming and carefully balanced interior, offering a refined hospitality experience closely connected to the city’s historic setting.
The design emerges from a dialogue between the rigour of twentieth-century Italian Rationalism and the refined geometry of Art Deco. Clean lines, balanced proportions, precious materials and bespoke furnishings define an ordered and timeless composition, shaped by a neutral palette enriched with deep blue accents and touches of gold.
Rather than pursuing a conventional expression of luxury, the interiors create an atmosphere of precision, comfort and belonging. Every element contributes to a quiet and cultivated form of urban elegance, able to engage with the history of Florence without relying on literal references or theatrical gestures.
Palazzo Ottaviani thus offers the city a new address for contemporary hospitality: a place where architecture, interior design and Italian culture come together through a rigorous, distinctive language deeply rooted in its context.
